About 600 residents were without power Tuesday evening after a truck hit a power line.
A town alert issued Tuesday evening said a truck hit a “power line” and “de-energized” it. The outage affected the area of Seaspray and Seabreeze avenues between Cocoanut Row and County Road.
The incident happened just before 5 p.m. at 345 Seaspray Ave., according to Florida Power & Light spokeswoman Florencia Contesse. Damaged equipment caused the outage, she said.
Contesse said 500 customers had power restored by 7:30 p.m. and all power was back on by 10 p.m.
