Town of Palm Beach Hosts Official Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Phase 1 North and Phase 1 South of the Undergrounding of Utilities Project

Palm Beach, FL – The Town of Palm Beach will host Official Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Phase 1 North and Phase 1 South of the Undergrounding of Utilities Project. Both Ceremonies will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 in the respective equipment staging areas for Phase 1 North and Phase 1 South. The Groundbreakings will celebrate the commencement of the construction process and recognize the efforts of the Mayor, Town Council and Undergrounding of Utilities Task Force members in guiding the process to this point.

Phase 1 South – 9:00am, August 4, 2017, Phipps Ocean Park, 2201 South Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, FL 33480. Parking is available in Phipps Ocean Park, North Lot.

Phase 1 North – 10:30am, August 4, 2017, Corner of Onondaga Avenue and Laurie Lane, Palm Beach, FL 33480. Please park on the nearest side streets and avoid parking on N. Lake Way and N. Ocean Blvd.

As parking is limited, the Town will relax enforcement of right-of-way and street level parking during the Ceremonies.
